BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Mike Pratt is married to Vicky, and they have three children. He is active in the community, having been President of the Brevard Jaycees in 1984 - 85, Legal Counsel to the North Carolina Jaycees in 1986 - 87 and President of the Brevard Rotary Club in 1990 - 91. He has also been involved in numerous other community groups, including the Chamber of Commerce, the Boy Scouts, the Cancer Society, the Transylvania Young Democrats and Democrat Men's Club. He headed the Transylvania County Speakers Bureau to Celebrate the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution in 1987. He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Brevard, where he teaches Sunday School and has held numerous offices. He was a charter member of the United Methodist Men's Club for the church and held the office of District Vice President of United Methodist Men in 1993. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors for Wachovia National Bank. He is also the City Attorney for the City of Brevard.
